We eliminate non-essential steps with a disciplined, streamlined approach—reducing cost, risk, and time, so our team can focus on successful products.

The Multi-Tiered Secure Pouch addresses parents’ safety concerns while meeting students’ needs by offering a controlled, reliable system for storing electronic devices during school hours. It minimizes distractions, enhances focus on academics, and contributes to reducing school safety incidents. The Multi-Tiered Secure Pouch promotes a structured and secure learning environment — supporting parents’ desire for safety and students’ need for a distraction-free educational experience.”

This structured approach helps foster a more disciplined and attentive classroom environment, where learning is prioritized, and interruptions are minimized. The pouch not only reduces instances of classroom disruption, cyberbullying, and unauthorized device use, but also contributes to broader school safety by limiting access to potentially harmful online content and social media during the school day.

Moreover, the Multi-Tiered Secure Pouch strengthens the partnership between educators and parents by reinforcing shared goals around student well-being, responsibility, and academic success. Parents can feel confident knowing that their children are in a secure, focused, and technology-regulated environment, while students benefit from the clarity and consistency that comes with clear device boundaries.

In essence, the Multi-Tiered Secure Pouch is more than a storage tool — it is an integral part of a school-wide commitment to creating a distraction-free, secure, and supportive learning space where every student can thrive.

SAFE stands for Student Accountability Focused Equity

Multi-tiered Secure Pouch implementations align with PBIS, MTSS, Equity, and Skinner’s Behavioral Theories. Schools can tailor pouch strategies based on demographics, enrollment size, and grade levels.

Real-Time Quick Unlocking for Accommodations, Emergencies, or Dismissal
Schools can equip teachers with magnets to unlock Tier 1 pouches instantly, supporting student safety and accommodating diverse needs.

Consistent Consequences and Expectations:

  1. Students caught with phones, earbuds, or smartwatches may have them confiscated, to be retrieved by parents after school.
  2. Students who damage or lose their Blue Secure Pouch must borrow a Tier 2 (Blue or Orange) pouch and return it daily to the Front Office until repair or replacement is resolved.

Reduce Costs
We offer parents our exact volume pricing so they can purchase a Secure Pouch for long-term use. Think of it as a Pouchbook — a personalized daily yearbook.

Simplest, Scalable, and Sustainable Model (Check-out System):

  1. Assign each student a Blue Secure Pouch like a Chromebook. Students are responsible for bringing it daily.

Arrival: Students lock their devices. First-period teachers verify through the pouch’s viewing hole. Teachers may contact parents to confirm students without devices.
Dismissal (no teacher magnets): Last-period teachers inspect for damage/loss. Students visit nearby unlocking stations.
Dismissal (with teacher magnets): Last-period teachers check and unlock pouches in class. Bonus: Enables real-time unlocking for emergencies and activities, easing admin load — a win for students and parents.

Pouches Stay at School Implementation

Arrival: Number all Blue Secure Pouches and organize them at stations. Staff or volunteers lock up student devices as they enter. First-period teachers verify pouch status.
Dismissal (Key Moment):
Option 1 (Teacher Unlocking): All teachers unlock and collect pouches after checking them. Return them to the Front Office. Large schools can use collection boxes and log sheets.
Option 2 (Unlocking Stations): Students unlock and return pouches at stations. However, this reduces accountability — pouches may be more easily damaged or lost after school.

We follow a 1-to-1 student policy to ensure personal devices are secured on campus, and we use Secure Pouches to carry out this policy. The rollout has been smooth and effective overall.

Students pouch their devices as they arrive each day. Since adopting Secure Pouches, we’ve seen fewer classroom distractions and more engaged, face-to-face interactions during breaks.

Principal Nguyen
Riverstone Preparatory School (~400 students)

All students receive a Secure Pouch labeled with their name. Each morning, as they arrive and are greeted by staff, we check their pouches. If a student forgets theirs or it’s not functioning properly, we provide them with an orange backup pouch. Blue pouches are unlocked during the last five minutes of the day, while orange ones are opened in the office.

We’ve seen a major drop in cell phone use during the day. The Secure Pouch system has eliminated power struggles over phone collection — it’s been a fantastic change for our school.
